  1. Artemis should probably take the Storm Plains, since they were the center of farming.
  2. Re Diki: Yes, but remember how small it was? And how it was shaped somewhat like this: Code: --- ---- | G ------- E | | | | D | | | | T | | | | S ------- R | ----- ---- With the entry in the NE. the Spectral Gazer in the NW, the Rotdhizon in the SE, Samman in the SW, and the Cryodrayks and Tralls in the center? The island on the map is oblong, and green even when Samman was alive. EDIT RE NICOA: I was saying that at least part of the Drypeak valley was the border Waste, probably just the NW most side.

It is another island, not mentioned in the game but still on the map. Originally Posted By: Nioca Sleeping Dragon - Sadly, Drypeak doesn't appear on this map, so I did the best I could. The Emperor is currently photoshopping a new map one far younger and more powerful which will just contain the outline of each factional territory and the capital, without all that green stuff to eat up memory.
  4. Soooo... the Neo-Barzites?
  5. Oh, and I think it's worth mentioning that in G3, I named my Vlish Delicious, Suspicious, and Fictitious, because ''the vlish is a lie''.
  6. You should call them the Arterials.
  7. Oh, one thing. Can we make Suacia I. just off-limits? Good.
  8. These are the guys in the area north of Dillame, in the zone where you can descend into the Sea Caves, yes?
  9. He might be able to claim fair use if he makes it a parody, but why would he want to do that?
  10. All, but "all" is a very small number. I seem to remember the gazer in G4 in the Eye's road states that there are very, very few alive. EDIT: I'm working on a map now, but in a pinch you can use http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/2622/geneforgecompletemap.jpg this one.
  11. Faction- The Eyebeasts/Gazers: Created by the mad Shaper Barzhal centuries ago, they were once regarded as the pinnacle of the Shaping art. Powerful, intelligent, cunning, and potently magical, they epitomize all that the Shapers would have destroyed. They rose to semi- importance in the rebelling, with a single Eyebeast able to take down even the most powerful Drakons. Sadly, they were far, far, less numerous then even the Drakons. With only a few hundred Eyebeast having existed in the entirety of history, and less than a thousand Gazers currently alive, the Eyes are one of the smallest factions in existence, however, they manage to command a small, yet important, fraction of the balance of power. The Eyes were Barred by order of the Drakon Conclave over 75 years ago, when the Drakons attempted to wipe them out in a single blow. Sadly, they failed, and several dozen Gazers and Eyebeasts escaped to a large island in the center of Terrestia, where they set up powerful defenses and waited, biding their time and rebuilding their numbers. They are led by a human Lifecrafter who orchestrated the escape of the remaining Gazers. This Lifecrafter, only known as Master Dantius, is a political genius, a capable mage, and a competent Shaper. However, his real asset lies in the fact that he utilized the secrets of the Eyes (who live more than four times longer than a human) to greatly increase his lifespan. At one hundred and six years old, he is feeble and frail, but a force to be reckoned with both magically and politically, and is intent on dominating Terrestia with his power.
  12. Right, here's what I got Naked, no buffs- ~55 damage Wearing good equipment, no buffs- ~30 damage Equipped, with protection and essence armor - ~20 damage And yes, it is on torment. PS Quick etiquette question: When adding in new info, should I double post to highlight I have updated, or just edit my previous post?
  13. Quote: Alorael, who tries not to make the poor little beasties run back and forth aimlessly until they die. He feels bad for them. What, pity for mere creations? Running around and dying is their purpose after all.
  14. Nope, I take about 20-30 damage on torment. However, I do have protection and essence armor, coupled with good items. If you like, I could quick load up a save and try it.
  15. I'm sure a mod will be along shortly to yell at us for resurrecting a dead topic...
  16. I would recommend casting haste self, running in in Combat mode, stealing one item, leaving, then wash, rinse, repeat.
  17. I got Vlish to 5 once, but no higher. Also, I don't think that the scripts say anything about it. On the other hand, being able to shape an Unbound as the third tier Drakon would be sweet!
  18. They aren't really a threat on their own, as they do about 20 damage on average, but when they are combined with stronger creations (ie the Gazer that drops the Forbidden Band), they can be devastating.
  19. When I run Geneforge 5 (on windows) I will occasionally experience a very strange event. When I exit a zone, and then select another zone and hit travel, my computer will shut down. The game doesn't crash, but the whole thing just turns off, instantly. What's really bizarre is that when I start it back up again, I don't get the message "Your computer has been improperly shut down, would you like to restart in Safe mode" like I would get if I just pressed the power button. I don't have this problem for any of the other games, and my computer is less than a year old, so it can't be that. I was wondering if any of you had experienced any similar problems, and how you solved them.
  20. I was disappointed that he was not resurrected as the leader of the Trakovites in G5. I was actually very surprised that they were led by Litalia, since she despised them SO much in G4. And no, he was not my personal favorite. I didn't actually like him very much.
  21. Usually, when people cheat that much, it is so that they can just relax and experience the plot without hassle of combat.
  22. I was curious to know what you all think about this. In the entire Geneforge series, what was the single best item? Personally, I would go with Danette's Belt or maybe the Firesteel Gauntlets. What do you think?
  23. In my opinion, the single biggest flaw in G5 was replacing Essence Orbs with Essence Lance, the most useless spell ever. It also really annoyed me that NPC's got it and you didn't. That said, I prefer them in G4-G5.
  24. I also think that they disappear if you leave the zone before they do- that happened to me once.
