  1. I seem to remember that the description for the luck stat includes something like "Other more subtle effects". What are these effects, if anything?

It seems like it should just be a matter of adding a flag to each monster to check whether it's summoned or not, and if it is disallowing it from casting summon spells. Of course, given the code that could be easier said than done.

Personally I'm in favor of just removing Weak, Medium, and Strong Summoning (and also Summon Spirit, Sticks to Snakes, Summon Host, and any other kind of weak summoning) from the monster repertoire. I think monsters do still need to be able to summon, but I suppose the mechanism could be changed so you don't get stupid amounts of monsters summoned. Summoned monsters themselves shouldn't be able to summon more monsters.
  5. Definitely, but I think for the most part people don't use lockpicking or archery very much. Mainly because archery and thrown weapons are pretty useless, and everyone starts out with the unlock spell (has anyone tried to make a party with NO magic?).

  8. I'm personally against keeping an inherently unbalanced system solely for legacy reasons. Obviously you would have to keep compatibility as far as possible, but the idea of updating the scenarios, or at the very least adding a flag that a scenario is a legacy scenario would be a good idea.

  10. I've played Exile 2 on a Windows 7 PC (admittedly E2 was run from a flash drive, but that shouldn't make a difference).

It would be complicated, but it would be very cool to have.

This probably isn't the best thread, but what advantages and disadvantages would you suggest for Vahnatai PC's? Presumably some form of natural "Magically Apt" as an advantage, and maybe less HP / not as strong as disadvantages?

Perhaps this part of the character creation code could be changed! /is not entirely serious...

  20. Aren't any graphics that appear in previous exile games (whether or not they appear in BOE) still restricted though?
  21. For some reason the second question gave me the thought of an increasingly angry dragon stuck on a conveyor loop lol
