  1. Nope, it'd be a traditional, linear novel.
  2. I believe saying that Zombies want brains generally means they just want to consume your flesh, not brains exclusively.
  3. No sir, the point of Zombies versus Aliens is that the Zombies are simply used to trick the aliens into thinking the Zombies are the main force used to attack each other, while we pull out our particle accelerator, reconfigure it to shoot the antimatter at the ships which will explode and completely annihilate everything on the planet; yay! Note: If the above was possible, it'd probably be an end all invasion ender.
  4. Most certainly, in fact, I believe if you decided to add wings to that velociraptor, the odds of succeeding will multiply themselves exponentially!
  5. If we can create zombies in a lab and somehow relay orders to them with said zombies lacking brains, I do believe we can control them good sir. Unless you thought I meant they would be simply set loose like the unbound.
  6. Off topic, but has anyone read 'Rope Eater'?
  7. Apparently i'll have to read 1984 for myself, I've heard so many positive reviews of it.
  8. Epic by Conor Kostick is about a world that bases its economy and problem solving around a virtual world named Epic. Any issue that requires something akin to a physical confrontation to resolve a dispute is settled in game through a fight or something alike a fight. It's well written, the action is simply described as epic, and you will not forget it for quite a while. The in game currency is used in real life as well, which allows the Author to put additional conflict with an exciting resolution. I've read tons and tons of books, and this one goes in the upper bracket. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_(novel)
  9. Does she? If so, then the benefactor would potentially be her, although I concur with Dantius's claims.
  10. Each to his own, however you do raise valid points. Doesn't he realize how much energy the ring contains AFTER returning from Hellgrind? Or are you referring to when he saps the livestock of the Varden and then leaves it to Saphira to eat? I can't seem to remember when this happens.
  11. Is my reading comprehension at a preschool level, or does Card exhibit a tendency to blame the Democratic Party for quite a bit of issues?
  12. Excuse me sir, but this upcoming phrase completely destroys your Eyjafjallajökull. Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah' nagl fhtagn
  13. Dikiyoba, please elaborate on the comment about the Inheritance Saga?
  14. A lab created Zombie would be an amazing tool against the darned space creatures that, according to the media, will at some point invade our planet. The merits of said Zombies include a disposable horde which can be sacrificed without doubts to protect their threatened, beloved creators without hesitation, loss of morale, and an upkeep. Since Zombies as portrayed in Media are not required to acquire and consume nourishment apart from their desire for our brains, they are extremely cost effective and they could be stationed almost anywhere. Zombies, being the Undead and terrorizing creatures that they are, would lower enemy morale and could be used to quickly spread mass amount of synthetic viruses/bacteria to attempt and overwhelm their bodies which has just as large possibility to fail as it does to succeed. Cons would include destruction of crops if the Zombies are made hosts of disease, possible alien take over of Zombies through some kind of Mind Control, and ability of Zombies to think for themselves, for if we give them any measure of independent thought, they could eventually revolt. But this last con could be easily remedied.
  15. Of course he doesn't, it's all merely hypothetical.
  16. I merely liked the series for the armchair strategy, but each to his/her own.
  17. I figure our benevolent overlord would be the prime candidate for supplying said novel.
  18. If a Geneforge novel was written in the perspective of multiple individuals in the early Rebellion and the Shaper's order, would you read it?
  19. Inheritance Saga, Ender's game for Science Fiction and its sequels, which deal more heavily on philosophical topics; Epic the Novel by Conor Kostick, Goliath by Steve Alten, The Warcraft Novels, The Halo Novels for a Sci-Fi fix, and maybe some of the earlier Dean Koontz novels which take place in modern times but quite a few of his novels had major fantasy elements. Oh right, also Brave New World by Aldous Huxley for an epic satirical Utopian society.
  20. I thought you said that creations such as wingbolts (introduced in G4) wouldn't be in the story, but you added War Thralls; but then again those could be simply the experimental versions the shapers might have been working on prior to the full on rebellion in the lands of G4. In any case, congratz your story is epic! Are we ever going to see Rots?
  21. Does the translation path have to be exact or can it be approximate?
  22. Yay, many thanks to both of you guys.
