Is the pathfinding the reason why my characters can't seem to find the best way to the enemy?
For example, I'm in a narrow tunnel fighting a bad guy...I click on the enemy to attack and my character immediately turns around and starts going around the other way to get to the enemy, despite being able to switch with other characters (btw, that was so annoying in A4, not being able to switch when in narrow tunnels) so my character loses the chance to attack which could end up costing me the fight.
Also, I agree that it would be very helpful to have popover texts describing what all the various effects are. I wish we had a way to combat my characters being frozen or the seared lightning (I think that what it was) that was in A5....I don't know whether it's in A6 yet.

Omg, I hated those conveyer belts, I kept on going the wrong way and falling off of them....Imagine, working your way to the other end of the building and then figuring out who had to go all the way back...or trying over and over again to get through the doorway or stairs but missing.
At least you can walk through the lasers and you're not stuck.

Try right clicking on the .exe file, going to properties and then clicking Compatibility mode....make it for Windows XP.
I have a vista computer as well, and I know it installed fine on my system without having to move files around. I use an admin account on my computer though. That could be another cause of your problem, are you running the file as an administrator?

Very nice art, I look forward to seeing more examples!

I think I played the demo version of E3 for more than a year, replaying over and over, until I could finally persuade my dad to buy it.

Looks like a cool game, I like what he's told us of the storyline so far, sounds interesting!
And the release date is good too, gives me enough time to start and finish the Geneforge series, finally.

I also can't wait to play A6.....I managed to play part of the demo on a friend's Mac computer but that only managed to whet my appetite, lol.
Games have been released earlier than Jeff sometimes anticipates so it could be out in February! I'm excited.

I procrastinate a lot, especially with housework like doing dishes and cleaning....unless I have someone else there to motivate and help me, lol.

If you need a Windows Vista tester, my email is on my profile.

Awesome, good news!

Very nice!
I would email Jeff about it at spidweb@spiderwebsoftware.com, he's the one you should be asking.

Yes, Canada is perfect, but I would like to be able to visit the States and other countries on occasion.
My boyfriend is Polish, so we would like to go there and visit his family at some point as well.
I actually have family in Chalk River, which is right beside Deep River, and yes it would be good to have a driver's license to go and visit them. -
I never make any New Years resolutions, or if I do I don't call them that.
Instead I reflect on the past year and decide what I want to do this year. For example, I have made a decision to finally start getting my driver's license this year and also get a passport.

Very interesting article!
As a child, I was healthy and never took prescription drugs.
Now as an adult, I am overweight and should be exercising more. To my relief however, my daughter is healthy and active and doesn't need to take drugs. She watches tv, but she also plays outside a lot in the summer.
It seems in this day and age that so many kids take medication for something, whether it be anxiety or diabetes or ADHD. I hope my daughter is always lucky enough not to need to take medicines.

I play Urban Dead but I don't think you would like it because it does have pvp....you play either a zombie or a human and of course both sides are against each other.

Here's a picture of me taken at New Years, wearing my boyfriend's cool hat:

A2 is my favorite, I love the storyline and I love how huge the game feels.
In the older games I love the distinction between the outdoors and towns because it made the game world feel more bigger.

Yes, Houghton tells you to meet him in the observation room on the second floor of the castle.
Things should progress on from there.

Whispering Crystal? Is that the quest for the King's second in command, Houghton?
Have you explored all conversation options?
-
Can you clarify what game you're playing and who you are doing the crystal quest for?

Got Stephen King's latest, Under the Dome, for Christmas and have read the first couple of chapters. However I think I will probably finish reading Nightmares and Dreamscapes (a book of his short stories) first.
Also picked up a H.G. Wells book with The Time Machine, The Island of Dr. Moreau and The War of the Worlds which I might start reading today when I have to travel a lot on the subway and bus. And that reminds me, still trying to read Dune.....
One of these days I'll read one book at a time, and then I'll probably be less confused about things.

Yes, usually I can control it myself, it's just when I forget and click on the enemy without thinking is when it screws up.
Usually I would click the character then click the space, then switch the characters and then attack and then it works perfectly.
