  1. Yes, usually I can control it myself, it's just when I forget and click on the enemy without thinking is when it screws up.

Usually I would click the character then click the space, then switch the characters and then attack and then it works perfectly.

  2. Is the pathfinding the reason why my characters can't seem to find the best way to the enemy?

For example, I'm in a narrow tunnel fighting a bad guy...I click on the enemy to attack and my character immediately turns around and starts going around the other way to get to the enemy, despite being able to switch with other characters (btw, that was so annoying in A4, not being able to switch when in narrow tunnels) so my character loses the chance to attack which could end up costing me the fight. frown

Also, I agree that it would be very helpful to have popover texts describing what all the various effects are. I wish we had a way to combat my characters being frozen or the seared lightning (I think that what it was) that was in A5....I don't know whether it's in A6 yet.

  3. Very cute Salmon!

Are we uploading pictures of our kids now? Goody! I think I have one of Heather floating around here somewhere....

    Heather

This was taken when she was a toddler still, about four I think. Now she's 7 but still cute as a button! smile

  4. Ooooh, awesome, I would love a shirt and mousepad and mug!

But there needs to be some more humorous stuff, where's all the funny sayings? Some of the suggestions above would do very well.

  5. Try right clicking on the .exe file, going to properties and then clicking Compatibility mode....make it for Windows XP.

I have a vista computer as well, and I know it installed fine on my system without having to move files around. I use an admin account on my computer though. That could be another cause of your problem, are you running the file as an administrator?

  6. Looks like a cool game, I like what he's told us of the storyline so far, sounds interesting!

And the release date is good too, gives me enough time to start and finish the Geneforge series, finally. smile

Yes, Canada is perfect, but I would like to be able to visit the States and other countries on occasion. tongue

My boyfriend is Polish, so we would like to go there and visit his family at some point as well.

I actually have family in Chalk River, which is right beside Deep River, and yes it would be good to have a driver's license to go and visit them.
  8. Very interesting article!

As a child, I was healthy and never took prescription drugs.

Now as an adult, I am overweight and should be exercising more. To my relief however, my daughter is healthy and active and doesn't need to take drugs. She watches tv, but she also plays outside a lot in the summer.

It seems in this day and age that so many kids take medication for something, whether it be anxiety or diabetes or ADHD. I hope my daughter is always lucky enough not to need to take medicines.

  9. Got Stephen King's latest, Under the Dome, for Christmas and have read the first couple of chapters. However I think I will probably finish reading Nightmares and Dreamscapes (a book of his short stories) first.

Also picked up a H.G. Wells book with The Time Machine, The Island of Dr. Moreau and The War of the Worlds which I might start reading today when I have to travel a lot on the subway and bus. And that reminds me, still trying to read Dune.....

One of these days I'll read one book at a time, and then I'll probably be less confused about things. tongue
