It's also next to no information.
(But it does sound possibly interesting.)

I like the Dialog Editor.
I vaguely remember a bug of some sort, actually, but I can't remember what. If I ever do, I'll tell you, Niemand.

If anyone does email Ormus, tell him to check his private messages.

If anyone wants this, look here .

I'm debating whether it's worth registering on that forum when I actually haven't played the full games... even though I'm the one who first proposed the idea.
-
I checked it a little while ago (a week or less, I think). I probably would've started writing articles late next week if there was still no action being taken.
Incidentally, I'm not sure how many of you noticed, but Arancaytar even set up a forum to talk about the project.

In addition to the question above, I have a question about the Pied-Piper project. In the event of edited posts, does it keep a copy of the old version of the post, or does it replace it?

The problem with that is that there are only 2 wall slots available. What if you want three different sets of walls in a town?

The format of the image doesn't matter. It's the format the program uses to store it in the clipboard which actually makes a difference.

Well, actually, python is in some ways very similar to C. If you know python, it probably wouldn't be too hard to learn C.

What is the session expiration time? All I know is that I get logged out overnight. I didn't expect to get logged out in 3 hours. (Or maybe it was 4.)
-
Actually, I think it's C, not C++. Not that it makes much difference.
Python would probably be a bad idea.

A minor thing...
I loaded a page while logged in, then left and came back later (leaving the page open). I decided to post a comment, but it turned out that my login had expired. Rather than presenting me with the option to log in, it simply reloaded the page – losing the comment box and adding a message at the top saying I was not validated to post comments (because I was no longer logged in). The problem here is that the comment I was going to post was lost.
Now, this isn't a situation that is likely to come up very often, but I would expect that if you try to do something that you need to be logged in to do, and you aren't logged in, it should present the log-in screen and then allow you to proceed with whatever you were doing.

Yes, and probably.

In Blades of Exile, if the party leaves town and re-enters while split up, the items of the absent members are dropped on the ground. (If I remember correctly.)
Perhaps the same thing happens in Blades of Avernum? I haven't tested it.

Is it possible to remove a character from the party, like in certain places in Avernum 2? That is, the player can be returned later?

And you can put the overflow in the second pair of quotes.

I seem to recall making a duplicate of Fort Emergence. I also made the Exile 2 tests (Tests of Strength, Speed, and Mind), but I can't remember if that was an exact duplicate or a remake. And I created a Test of Patience, because I liked that from Avernum 2.

Nobody should make a BoE scenario of Exile III. It would probably illegal, for a start. However, a duplicate of the tarrain and any non-plot-related stuff would be a useful resource.
-
Definitely check the OBoE section of Khoth's repository so that all the fixes and improvements can be incorporated.
I fully support the idea of rewriting it to use SDL. QuickDraw is way out-of-date now anyway.

Scroll wheel? Wow, that's wonderful!

I don't know if it will help, but it seems to me that "it_magic = 0" should be "it_magic = 1". Aren't cursed items normally also magical?

Nice sarcasm there, Arancaytar. For once, it's obvious.
I think the administrators have a bit of work to do over there – setting up forums, for example.
