I did the Vanhati and Draco quests for Levitt. Now when I go to Fort Monastery I'm told I'm not good enough and i should just leave. I'm using Avernum 6 1.01 and I put in the script update designed to fix the Ft Draco quest issue. I should note that I've killed the slith general outside Ft. Monastery already. Ok I didn't pick the fort Monastery quest from levitt and now i work for the king. I went to the fort and the commander still says i'm not enough to help. What do i need to do? Thanks!

I'm down in the trapped cave but nothing seems to damage the pylons. But the pylons aren't attacking me either. What's the deal? Thanks!

I found a cave of eyebeasts that guard the route to the nephilim who tells you about the scourge to the east. in the area you fight the eyebeasts, several of them, there is a hidden button but all paths to it are blocked. i couldn't find any other hidden button to open a passage to the one i can see. any suggestions? Thanks!

I just got the heartstriker bow. It does not appear to have any special abilities and damage is 8-32 yet it's worth 4000 gold! Are sum objects just really overpriced or do these objects have unlisted abilities, for example I'd assume a bow named heartstriker has a high probability of getting a critical hit. Thanks for any info.

i get the impression that helping gladwell is helping evil. if so i don't want to do his quests. can you do his quests and avoid messing people in the game up? can you kill him in the end? I like to role play the good guys.

I've gotten into the lower level but there's a barred door with no way to get into the central part, on the lower level. Is there anyway to get there other than doing the gladwell quest?

I talked to the commander but he says I can't do anything. the front gate guards are unkillable as far as i can tell. is there a timer on this since I talked to the sage down in the tunnels? Is there something other than killing the slith I'm supposed to do? Thanks!

Thanks for the inputs. I didn't try just dropping stuff on the ground. i put two items in the desk of the commander of the central portal. they disappeared. As i vaguely recall in previous versions of the game there were specific areas that were safe.

Is there any place you can store items you want to keep but don't want to carry so that they don't disappear? Thanks.

is there any way to kill him? i tried pretty much everything and no luck. i just ran around and took what treasure was there and then left. thanks for any help.

i don't want to drive people out of the azure cave so i want to use the route underneath the vahanti temple. but it appears that i have to open a grate before i can do that. if that isn't so i'd like to know and if it is so i'd like to know how to get the grate over the door open. thanks!

i found different clues that what are in the link alluded to in the message above. i found North sparkling orb not red No sparkling the same color Western orb has red sparkles At least 1 orb to the south doesn't sparkle 2 orbs sparkling on the diagonal i set the orbs as follows NW orb green sparkles NE orb blue sparkles SW orb red sparkles SE orb no sparkles it didn't work. there are several combinations that meet the above requirements, ie i could make the NW no orb or no sparkle. are we just supposed to try every allowed combination? rather boring in my opinion. if there isn't any spiffer solution please post the answer. thanks.

i'm wondering if i've found a bug. i just now got the Lark quest for the mind warp Chitrach. i went back to the nest and fought the worms 4 times. i found 4 passages, the one to the southwest, the two with ladders up to the unenterable nests, and one to the northwest of the central chamber. never saw a mindwarp chitrach or any chitrach for that matter. it looks like there's a secret compartment due west of the worm area, is that where the mindwarp is? could it be that since i entered the area, or maybe even killed the mindwarp prior to getting the quest i'm out of luck? thanks

is there any place you can place items where they won't disappear over time? i've got a bunch of magical items that may be useful if i fight certain types of foes but which i don't need most of the time, then there's stuff like demon bile. i don't want to carry the stuff around, don't have room for loot, but i don't want to sell it either. thanks.

is there any way to take the scrolls without having to kill everyone in sight? i managed to get up to where they are without being spotted but as soon as i came back everyone was trying to kill me. thanks!

the ladders are one way. once you go up you can't go down. if you mean the stairs you can go up and down, like the northwest most hive i've done that more than 4 times and the same 3 doors repeat. does it matter that i've already killed the hive queen?

i've killed the worms a million times it seems. i see 3 of the passages, the two ladders up and the path in the lower left of the map. there appears to be a secret path due west of the room but even though i've seen all of the other paths multiple times that path never opens. help!

keep going? do you mean just keep killing them or do you mean keep heading away from the anama lands? i figured something was going to happen so i went out the gate before i did much of anything in the anama lands. is it too late to go back and do those quests etc? thanks!
