I have not yet recieved the quest to get the sword, though I have found the sign in the rock. What do I have to do before I can take this quest?

I have been having the same problem with disapearing pictures. I found that going into the party editior and reselecting the image for the charector in question brought it back.

Perhaps you were used to the G3 method. It makes it both easier, and harder. Keep in mind that unlock is worth about 2-3 living tools, so if you get a door down to that worth with living tools, you can cast the spell and it will usually open.

Artillia eyes are useful for forging, and can be sold for profit, as well. Editors work for both Mac and Windows, because their a text file, and thus not platform sensitive.

Yeah, Arghhhhhhhhh. At some point, you find that $27 is cheaper than spending all your time trying to play the game through everyone else in the forum. It also causes less irritation for the other people in the forum. Not that I can talk about irritating people... *cringes in corner, waiting for blow to fall*

You know, single play in A4 is getting dangerously near Geneforge. From what I've seen in this forum, most of you don't want that. I understand you like Avernum better than the Geneforge world (I do, too), but you almost might as well play Geneforge if you're not going to take advantage of multi-PC capabilities. Its that that made me put A4 above the Geneforge series. Now, having set myself up for the inevitable mocking that is given a Genforge fan in the A4 forum, I'll go off and live the rest of my life.

The Establishment is amazingly helpful... Just post and you get a detailed answer to your problem. Just as long as they don't get too helpful. That makes the game as easy as it is with cheats or a trainer.

You Know, when a topics been dead for six centuries, its interesting to go back and look at what you wrote. I, looking back, have some things to revise. Jordan is not crap, but does get boring after the sixth book. The tenth book has no action, because he put it all in eleven, making it seem rushed. As for Salvatore, he aint great literature, he's just another fantasy writer. Drizzt is a cool charecter though. George R. R. Martin. I started reading his stuff, and like it so far. Unfortunately, I still have yet to find anything that even comes close to Tolkien.

Well put together though it was, I doubt anyone would actually pay you for it. How did Jeff like it?

Isn't it easier (no pun inteded, see later on) to play the game on Torment than finish the game in the dark? Or are you just being cheap?

I kind of like the music. I wonder who the person is, though. And what are those things? Drayks, roamers?

You know, if we are going to keep ending up in book discussions, then we should either make a topic for it or go to another site. The Shaper Council, huh? Maybe, if you play Geneforge 3 in a certain way, you can actually end up on the council? Nah, that's too much to hope.

Some people, when examining the screen shots, have in fact noticed what they believe to be a multiple PC party. However, they could also just be some sad tag alongs like in the second edition. I suggest you closely examine the screen shots.

Stabbing is not a good idea. After all, even a Shaped Blade only effects one target. I suggest incineration, instead. Couldn't we all just get along, though? Wait... I seem to remember that being said before... Oh well. *takes out his corrupting wand*

Wait a minute... it seems to me that all of us are already dying slowly and painfully... waiting for Geneforge 3! As for other punishments... skinning someone alive is painful, slow, and a classic.
