I think you can find greymold in the caves south of Lancaster but I'm not 100% on that... You can buy Ale in a bar on the west side of Independence City, just talk to the bartender and see what comes up. I think you just ask him about "inde". You need to get half a dozen or so to get Simms drunk.

Chief Spider - since Exile and Avernum are pretty well the same in terms of storyline/missions etc, any movie would also be exactly the same! Unless you were suggesting they used the game graphics to make the film.

Try Shadow of a Stranger and Forsaken. Both are great. Also, give Gallows another go, it's one of the best scenarios there is and most people will be able to answer any questions you have on it.

I tend to use Slith characters (pole weapon bonus) with Steel Halberds. You can get them augmented to add flame damage etc, and they do a fantastic job.

There is a secret passage in the cave wall near the ghost. Go south and find another secret wall in the east side of the cave. The ogres are in there, but make sure you've got a decent party because they can be pretty tough at a low level.

At a low level the Wound spell is pretty good for killing wolves and goblins.
