If you make a custom character a slith or a nephil, you get extra dex/pole points put on when you save the party.

Which Exile are you playing? In E3 your best bet is to complete a few plagues and hang around until the Orb of Thralni gets stolen.

I prefer Exile 2 out of all of them. Then again it was the 1st demo I found but the last game I registered so I spent a good 2 years going through everything in the demo. The Vahnatai are excellent, and it's a lot harder to cheat in 2.

Try putting a window in with a couple of guards outside.

By the end of the game all your party will be level 50, with just about every spell and weapon imaginable!

As far as I know it doesn't increase with level, it's just a matter of luck. What I used to do is save just before the barrier, use the crystal and then reload if it didn't work so I didn't waste all my crystals. That said, if 50 times hasn't done it then it probably won't. Have you tried walking through it or looking for secret passages?

I still say use the editor. You only have to do it once, and at least you won't end up wasting all your skill.

I've reinstalled Exile about 6 times. Everytime I change something I reinstall and try again. How would I go about reinstalling my system? And the reason I switched from Mac is because I moved out of my parents house and the computer they got me for my birthday happened to be a PC.

Thanks for all your help, but I need more! (sorry). Reconfiguring my autoexec and config files fixed the autoexec but shifted the problem to the config, and nothing I did would remove the problem. Seems that changing the config mended the autoexec and vice versa, but nothing would do both. I think the problem is autoexec in my c:\I386 folder. Anyone with some computer knowledge would really be in my good books right now! Thankyou

Not that I know of. I just use it to open up the supply caches. And Shift,full-stop does something as well. Possibly random items in E1/2

I've been playing Exile on a Mac for years, and just got a new PC which I've tried to download Blades onto. Unfortunately, everytime I try to install it says my autoexec file doesn't support programs for windows and dos (or words to that effect). The first time I tried I managed to install and play, which then crashed my computer completely and I had to do a system restore. Now it won't even let me install the basic program that you download. Any ideas?

Enter from the east entrance, and walk left. You'll find a secret passage in the rock. Walk down and turn right to leave the passage. Then walk up and you'll be teleported in.
