Ok, I use the trainer but after kicking all the mosters easily I realize it's not fun anymore and want to go back to the stats I had, is that possible? or it will reset to 0?

By the way, I don't know where to find the lost ornk somebody asked me to find. It has a white spot.

Speaking of crystals.... I am just starting GF5 and would like to know if I should keep the "beautiful, lovely or flawed" crystals? anyone is buying them later in the game?? thanks.

I was also thinking that someone new to the series might be wondering what with those canisters which give me goodies, are they just "bonus" waiting to be picked? and I was surprised there was no "warning" like in the previous games where you knew what you were doing ;-)

I remember long time ago before this game was finished there was a thread dedicated to what you would like to see in G5 and I remember people asking black background because white would make their eyes hurt. Jeff must have taken those requests into consideration as no one asked the opposite.

I also find the black background more annoying than the classic white

There should be a way to choose, so everyone would be happy.

have you downloaded the "patch" (beta1.0.1) that right in this very same thread??

After you download and install it, you get another option in the dialog box called "fast graphics mode" which pretty much solves the problems. My computers has similar characteristics as yours and it worked, try it!

Just curious: Does the fact that this game has caused some (older) computers to run slow mean that the range of beta testers did not include ones with computers like ours?

When I first downloaded the demo my computer got very very slow, especially on the initial dialog boxes (to choose the type of character for example). Now I downloaded and installed this exe file and the problems were completely solved!

I wish one could choose the aid that will be summoned by the mage. I hated when I needed a ranged attacker and got a pustulant zombie instead, or when I was fighting a fire resistan foe and got a fire lizard

Unfortunately I couldn't find the Haithre lord Lark was asking me to find (I gave up) I guess that's why the arena had nothing to offer me.

I already explored Melchion the dragon's island and did the quests for Goro. However I found 2 areas which puzzle me.

1) There is an arena. I killed the golems that guarded it, I rang the gong so many times I got deaf, but nothing happens (nothing's supposed to happen?)

2) there is a vahnatai cemetary (sort of) and a lonely vahnatai shade. He doesn't seem to mind when I loot everything around. I even told him I was going to loot and he doesn't care. I attack him and can't harm him!!!! does he ever die? how?

Saving, doing nasty things, then going back to the situation before saving is what makes this game beat reality sometimes!

I am already in Dragon Melchianon's lands (or whatever the name is) and my party is 30+ so I feel that now I should be able to kill the slith horror who caused me so much humilliation some days ago. The only problem is that I can't remember where he is!

I think it's appropriate to post this question in this section: is there any pattern in the 4 altars of the soultaker's pit. I am in that part but it's quite hard. I am fighting against this specter who death-curses me and I have to find the right altar in time

or... you can go the "blade" way, like me, you just go upstairs, dispatch the guard, steal the scrolls and then kill everyone in town and loot all you want. No remorse, in the future you'll see they deserved it! hmf...
