I will use this thread to ask help too. I was in island of spears with some stuff I decided to sell in Gull island. So I left but when I returned to Khors' keep I found no boat! Where has the boat gone? I can't return to Spears, please help!

Thanks for replying. If doing a back up of the old scripts folder and downloading the files above and copying them into the scripts folder means to mess it, I definitely messed it up. I don't think the file is not complete because I even marked the option "close when finished" in the dialogue box, the little window closed when it was fully downloaded. I even tried copy/paste ing from the link you gave someone else a few posts ago, but still didn't work. I will anyway try restoring the old files I backed up. Thanks.

Please Jeff include a decent Character Editor. I remember the old games included one which was very user friendly and came with the game. That would save us the "mess" caused by *.txt scripts that do not always work and make our games to display errors. Thanks.

I just downloaded the dhonal script and pasted in the scripts folder (I backed them up first though) and as soon as I enter the town I get the message in red below saying the script is broken or absent. I am using winxp.. I tried opening the link you provided and copy/paste the stuff in the file but still doesn't solve the problem I tried going to the silent shaper in the library but still the message keeps appearing. what can I do?

Hi, I had been doing pro rebel and pro shaper actions, for example I helped the rebel leader to get those canisters (Alkan) and killed the shaper who runs San Ru. But, when I met the "creator" I killed him and refused to repair him, I was aided by Erika, by this time I had long lost Alwan and Greta was really powerful, but when I was about to leave for Gull islands Greta said she couldn't go any further because I was in the ways of the shapers, can I get her back? she was too helpful :-( I want to go a little "undecided" as far as I can..

I only had 3 and when I tried I 4th it just didn't appear. Also, is it possible to chenge them sometime after you stored them? let's say I just added an infiltrator and then didn't want him anymore, can I "erase it"? how?

Hi, This is a rather especific question. I've been playing A2 for a while following the Walkthrough provided in this site. However, I can't seem to find anyone giving me the Pyrog's lair quest. I've been to the entrance but I don't want to make it yet. I've done a lot and I am beyond level 35 now. I read that you must take certain evidence to the vanhtai council about an empire fort (Limoncelli's), well, I went to that fort, killed everyone, got my reward in Emerald and went to the Council, they are happy I have returned 2 Crystals but they don't mention Pyrog. I even have the Demonslayer! What can I do? Thanks in advance.

So, when I first read your analogies between the races in the game and the people of France and Canada, I couldn't help but think that YOU are the real racist by making such interpretations. Hi, I tried but I couldn't make a scenario of my own, and I just don't want to try any more (I found it too difficult), so I decided to do something: to offer my idea of scenario (the plot was ready) to anyone who has the time and who would be willing to work on it. I am playing Avernum 2. I am in chapter 3, in Vanhatai lands. I just passed the tests that allowed me visit the council and they sent me back to the Tower of Magi. The funny thing is that before leaving, I tried (just to see how powerful the 3 old vanathais were) to attack them in that council room, after clicking the accept button in the warning dialog box I got a message saying something like "Now the Vanhatais know they were right being suspicious of you and therefore they decide to keep the magic barriers that divide EXILE, after that the empire attacks..." and so on, funny thing they mentioned exile and not avernum...

Hi guys, I got so sad after completing the scenarios of blades of A. that now I am playin A1. I've got the pommel and tip of the demoslayer, according to the "annotated map" I know I the blade is actually inside the Slith Temple, I been there and killed everyone, but I can't enter as I need an "iron key" Does anyone know where that one is? Yeah, the "solution" would be not to use it, but it's too good to quit them, and seeing only the giants' legs is ok. The same happens to the "computer" when the enemies use the summon arcana they also get "half" giants.
