In the part about Jereth Deeps in the hidden text about where is the blue ore now? is the text that tells that you have to find the pillars and at the end of that text is a link to a picture "pillar.png". This picture was first shown to me embedded in the text as a ukrainian flag and now I see no picture but the link to pillar.png http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/2459/pillar.png which leads to an imagesite showing no fitting image. I suspect the link is broken and the site simply shows an ukrainian flag instead of broken links.

Well, I have bought Avadon 1 late when it was on discount so while playing I´m reading through all the old threads that contain information that - to me - is new and useful. If the forum wanted a strict rule vs. necroing then that would only make sense if threads of the same problem (e.g. where is the blue ore, blue ore quest, how many blue ore, how do I get the blue ore quest) are all merged to one thread so that there is no risk to read and reply to an old thread as all are one.

The hidden text and picture that should show the area where blue ore is found has been replaced by an ukrainian flag. Link broken?

Well, I´m playing on normal, so I have yet another incentive for my next playthrough on hard - to try a Shadowwalker instead of a Blademaster to boldly go where no man has gone before...

Which is no disaster, after all if you alternate between your companions between quests, then you might not always have the Sorceress or the Shadowwalker with you and then it is useful if both have the ability.

In the Beasts Woods some raiders with a Shaman attacked me without any provokation and so I got some runesoled shoes that give a +10 to curses/blessings. What does that mean and who would best wear them? In my current game the character who does the most cursing using war cries and such is the blade master - or are his screams no curses and curses are what Shamans do?

Could the item list be stickied at the top of the avadon subforum like the maps?

That sounds more like Ultima 6 where you could grow wheat, have it milled to flour and bake it with water to bread... 😋

I just returned from aiding the dragon and gained the blue access code which allows me to enter the tower in Avadon where the explosion happened that freed the prisoners. As my blademaster is alone there and has no lockpicks (I gave those to either the sorceress or the shadowwalker with 4 in the lockskill) I can´t advance there through the locked door. Do I understand it right that I have to have some lockpicks on person to go further there, despite my blademaster having no lockpick skill and thus wasting lockpicks with skill 0 to open those doors?

In my first ever game I was so frightened for my character from Redbeards response that I reloaded and did not take Svarls letter. Only much later I read that one of the best weapons at the start of the game (Emerald Saber) is the reward for delivering the letter EVEN IF REDBEARD THROWS IT AWAY. Lord Svarl rewards the attempt to deliver the letter with one of the best rewards at the start of the game... I even used enchantment balls on a bought Steel Broadsword, never knowing how far better the Emerald Saber is... 🥲 Well, in my current playthrough I did get the saber and risked Redbeards wrath and it did not change anything.

That problem solves itself the natural way within the next 12 hours... 🙄

In my first attempt at the game I was too concerned of using up my pretty lockpicks (playing a Blade without skill to reduce lockpick use) - so I told her that I would search her chamber and she left it unlocked. Which meant that I did not need lockpicks, but I always suspected that she did let any evidence vanish before... So - if I do not tell her that I do a search and pick her rooms lock, there is still nothing to find?

I do not understand that table - it appears just as one line of text and not as a table at all...?
