Seasoned Roamer monolith94
Hey. So, I'm playing as a trakovite, made my way down into Dera. In trying to find the place where I need to make a delivery, I accidentally stumbled into Taygen's lair, killed a few war tralls, etc. Discovered that this made all of Dera hostile to me. the "pleaselikeme" cheat isn't strong enough, though. and my backup save is from light years ago. Am I "effed"?
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Probably.
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
I'm no expert, but I think there is a way to alter it with an SDF code, but I don't know how.
Kyshakk Koan jlsgaladriel
Isn't pleaselikeme the Geneforge 4 cheat? Did you try ihaterebels? I'm still not sure that will be enough, but it's worth a shot.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
ihaterebels is a reputation cheat that makes it possible to join Alwan or Taygen. Since Monolith is a Trakovite, that could very easily mess up the game even more. pleaselikeme is the right cheat to use, but unfortunately it looks like it doesn't work in this particular case. Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
What about pleaseforgiveme or letsbefriends ? I'm not sure if these are GF5 cheats, though...
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Dikiyoba is pulling information from the cheat code thread. Those cheats are not on the list.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Hmm... they worked (kind of) in GF2, at least.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
Jeff changes cheat codes around every few games. Occasionally he forgets to remove a few. The ones not on the list, however, are not recommended because they may end up breaking your game by doing very unexpected things that Jeff did not account for. Rotghroth Rhapsody Uberdhizon
Ah. I will take that into consideration.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
There probably is a way to fix the problem, but it requires delving into the scripts to figure it out. I'm not volunteering. Sorry! Since Trakovites use the same reputation as everyone else, being able to join Astoria or Ghaldring should also work for them. "iloverebels" is fine. —Alorael, whose major recommendations are keeping recent backup saves and relying on the autosave as much as you can. In this case it probably won't help, though.
