Fledgling Fyora Bettiboggibot
Hello I'm new to this caper and don't know what this term means (AoE that is) can anyone help?
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
It stands for Area of Effect and means that the spell will target everyone in a certain area. Icy Rain is an example of an AoE spell. Although it's not really everyone--you won't damage your party members or other friendly characters with it, just your enemies. Dikiyoba. Magnificent Ornk Aran
My first reaction to this topic title was: "There are only two AoE spells - Heal and Convert".

Ineffable Wingbolt Rent-an-Ihrno
Be cautious about whether you're clicking on a monster or the tile behind it. With Avernum's graphics and mechanics, it's often better to spend some time on aiming carefully.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
i know but when trying to get as much as possible enemies inside that ring accidents happens or battle area is that kinda place that can't use floor to determine right spot.
