Curious Artila Ogremindes
Since I can't get my leather-clad tush through the Bandit Woods without getting one-shotted by a javelin, I think I must be doing something wrong. So, any tips on getting an agent to that blow-everything-up stage? I'm guessing that 12 ranks of Battle Magic at level 4 wasn't the best way to go. (oh, and If you want to know why I didn't pick Guardian as my starter class, it's because I like my character to have a face.)
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Having higher leadership helps keep the bandits away. Go into fight mode and head straight west and then north along the edge of the zone to kill the rogue creations and visit the zone to the west. Build up some levels and then go and kill them bandits. Curious Artila Ogremindes
I did do that. That's how I got to level 4. The ruined school is clear.
Curious Artila Ogremindes
I guess what I need is early game build advice. There just doesn't seem to be enough points to go around between battle magic, endurance, intelligence, quick action, leadership and mechanics (did I miss anything important?). Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
The bandits are tough, so you might want to head east instead. Watchhill is much easier, and Crag Valley is probably easier as well. To survive the bandits, get more endurance and/or make a creation or two to help out. Dikiyoba. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Approach the bandits from the west and pick them off one by one if I remember it correctly. Stay at extreme distance to attack them and you should be able to do it. They do a lot of damage so use your most damaging attack and retreat between attacking them.
