Rotghroth Rhapsody txmimi Posted February 14, 2015 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I've been completely through the spiral pit, including the center part with all the frozen dead warriors, and still I don't get the dialogue option with the commander in Mertis to clear the quest. You need to cast the Sanctification Ritual priest spell while standing near the altar and outside of combat mode. If you don't have it, you can buy two levels in Fort Dranlon and find the third behind a magical barrier in the northwest corner of Formello. It's also a handy (if expensive) full-party heal/buff/cure when used in combat, so it's worth having. There are many other altars in the game that can also be sanctified like that -- you might already have run into another quest to do so. Whenever you see an evil-looking altar, cast that spell next to it and you can expect to gain some experience. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
