Tenderfoot Thahd Elle989
Does Folker ever get his sanity back? After placing the item that was supposed to cure him inside the stone circle, you go back to Avadon to find that he didn't get cured. Is there any other way to cure him? Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Apparently not. Frustrating, isn't it.
Garrulous Glaahk springacres
Just imagine how much more frustrating it must be for him.

Unflappable Drayk Edgwyn
Its kind of like the person with the curse in Nethergate, the game does not allow you to solve everyone's problems as much as we would all like to. I personally would love to have the option to end the Eternal Prisoner's suffering in Avadon 3 or whenever Redbeard is officially no longer the keeper. As to Folker, it may very well be that somethings cannot be cured, though I am not sure why he has a seemingly hopeless outcome while the wandering eye seems to have hope. Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
Eyes etc get training to defend against physical and psychical attacks so Esmee and Folker can't be compared.
Garrulous Glaahk springacres
Eyes etc get training to defend against physical and psychical attacks so Dymas and Folker can't be compared. FYT. Also, I think it's more that Dymas was a tinkermage whereas Folker was a scout, and Folker had drunk Corruption water while Dymas was simply possessed. Larissa mentions that Chabon's magical training was helping him resist her mind probes.
