Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 You are supposed to come back later when you are a few levels higher unless you are playing on casual. By the time you are over level 25 you might be able to do it depending upon the party composition and game difficulty. The gate in the northeast should be open after the battle, but you need to get through a fight before the big battle with him. Don't forget to mention your victory to Commander Ophira for a reward. Unflappable Drayk Edgwyn Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I really wish that passage had been marked with something happy like "Abandon All Hope All Ye Who Enter Here", as I tried going in there as I was clearing out the map after the battle and lost about an hour (I need to save more often).
