I feel robbed

I sold everything I had in junk bag (and there were hundreds of items, some very valuable like Ghostly Blades and emeralds and some quite cheap like crude weapons to iron weapons) and got only bit over 5k of gold and with that money can't buy much and I need 2 lvl 3 priest spells and 3 lvl 3 mage spells (yea some of those reqs are rewards after I kill emperor but still).

Avernum is a depressed economy. Later in the game you get more money, but it never is quite enough. That's why getting the trait to increase selling price is useful later in the game.

I suggest stabbing the shopkeeper and looting whatever he had .

for sure economy bites donkey since if sells hundreds of ghostly blades or emeralds gets only few k gold.

 

can't stab shopkeeper since it is (it will be once I sell junk bag empty again since I didn't save after selling) ToM shopkeeper.
