Chittering Clawbug Matchstk
Did I read somewhere here that in the Windows version of A:EFTP the second point of a trainable skill/spell is the same price as the first point?

Chittering Clawbug Matchstk
Wait, is that "yes, it's true!" or "yes, that's good news!"
Tenderfoot Thahd dottie
yes it is true it's just that, that's probably the only time I'll be knowledgeable enough to answer a question on this board
Chittering Clawbug Matchstk
Heh, thanks for the reply. And give it time, you'll be an old pro in no time. Welcome to the madness of Spiderweb Software. Between finding out that the Kyass fortress could have given me spells/skills at "pretty average" and now knowing this, I'm bummed for my Torment team. I could have given my mage and priest Parry boosts, my fighters low-level spells to cast, all kinds of bumps and bonuses. As it is, I only have Grah-Hoth left. And the dragons. Can't abide dragons. Is there a Mac version on the way with the reduced price structure? Does anyone know?
Rotghroth Rhapsody Kreador
Slarty posted a snippet from an email from Jeff Vogel that said the change would appear in the next update of the Mac version, but did not give a specific date when that would happen. I think he did it just to stop the Windows users from whining so much about how they were always behind. ;-)
Chittering Clawbug Matchstk
Heh, fair enough. For once, Mac users have to wait in line behind the Windows folks. Man, my team will save so much money and get buffed out quite well. I might have to start using the Wands of Corranus to make the bosses tougher. Chittering Clawbug Matchstk
No debate and yes, ironic. Spiderweb Software is one of a kind. (ahh I'm a Traveler now, no longer a Cave Dweller.) (only took ten years.)
