Curious Artila Sprinkles29
Yeah, I noticed Avadon doesn't have music does it? Anyways, as an old school console RPG gamer who grew up on Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, and Persona series, music has always been incredbly important to me as a gamer. However, I wasn't bothered by Avadon's lack of music in it. In fact I saw it as an oppurtunity to start using MySpace again. And it's really strange but I know have my own personal Avadon OST as it appears on Myspace. Here is mine, how about yours? (World Themes) No I in Threesome by Interpol Chasing Pavements by ADELE (Battle/Dungeon Music) Get Him Back by Fiona Apple 10 x 10 by Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Adventuring) Go Outside by Cults Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs Zero by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
"Chasing Pavements" is an interesting song choice to accompany an RPG. I generally don't play music while gaming, although every once in a while I play "Eye in the Sky" by Alan Parsons Project while playing Avadon. Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
I go for 'epic' music as an accompaniment to (music-free) games, including but not limited to: -Symphonic metal, e.g. Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, etc. -Battle themes and similar from other video games, like the Final Fantasy, Starcraft, Mass Effect, and Shadow Hearts series. -Dramatic classical musical like Carmina Burana, the Mozart and Verdi requiems, and various Wagner. Curious Artila Sprinkles29
You do get the whole "No I in Threesome"...which was a complete coincidence that I didn't even think about until after I made this thread. But, yeah, I listen to 10x10 when I play just about every battle game such as League of Legends. Also She-Wolf by Shakira, that song wins you games. Easygoing Eyebeast Goldengirl
Not so much out of conscious choice, but more because it was playing in the background, the Black Eyed Peas' album Elephunk is what I listened to when I was playing Avadon. It makes a very strange association; playing Avadon 2 with that association formed already may prove unintentionally humorous.

Curious Artila runequester
I've been on a big "random indie bands off the internet" spree lately, but stuff like Blind Guardian and Hammerfall seem custom fit for these "classic fantasy" RPGs
Tenderfoot Thahd killua
fallout1/2 music , age of wonders 2 music (best music for long time games IMHO) and some random ambient. now mainly with diablo 1 /2 music:)
