I can't open the door, I only get "The lock ist too complicated....etc." I have already done the how-to-use-the-portal-quest. Please help. Many thanks in advance! Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 You should be able to open the door after you report to Captain Meyhew. There is another door to the Job Board through the barracks to the east and then north. If that fails then download the game again because you have a corrupt file and there may be more problems ahead. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 Going through all of Captain Merryhew's dialogue options again to make sure you didn't somehow miss it and checking to make sure you're actually trying to get through the right door (since there are a ton of too-complicated-to-pick locks in the Castle) is the first place to start.
