Well-Actually War Trall Acky
Spiderweb needs YOU to beta test A6 windows players. Beta Application Here General Requirements: You must have a reliable internet account, capable of E-mail and of downloading large files. Updates can be over 20 MB and need to be downloaded reliably. You must be able to write and converse coherently in English. You must be able to actually spend time on testing, and, even if you don't find bugs, you need to be able to frequently give us reports on your progress in the game. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The Mac betas were about 50 MB and even the final versions were 35 MB so dial-up users need reliable connections. Expect to wait up to a week before Jeff sends out acceptances after closing application requests. There may be another delay before getting starting information when you turn in acceptance paperwork. People that get rejected never hear anything. When you submit anything to Jeff there can be a delay before he replies if he does. Mostly what he wants are what you think about how hard the game is and how it's running on your system. There were lots of complaints about Geneforge 5 running on Windows systems and these will probably reoccur. There will probably be new bugs since typos occur when Jeff tweaks the scripts. So play the game several times since problems can enter sections that worked fine only a week ago.
