Garrulous Glaahk Clocknova
I'm a little confused as to why there are so many slith inside the Horned Gate. I was under the impression that the gate was there to keep the Slith out of Avernum, not the other way around. If the Slith are already past the gate, why the Stalemate? What gives? Garrulous Glaahk Clocknova
Actually, I haven't played Avernum 4 or 5.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
The Horned Gate is held by the sliths now. The stalemate is because Fort Duvno is holding them back. Don't ask me how a fort in the middle of a huge cave is successfully holding back the slith army when a highly defensible gate failed to do so. Garrulous Glaahk Clocknova
That's a good point, made even more curious by the fact that I was able to lead the sliths away from the gate and over to Fort Duvno long enough to get the soldiers outside into the fight. They were promtly slaughtered and the sliths went back to the gate. Weird.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Locmaar
The Slith are mustering all their forces behind the Horned Gate to overrun the Eastern Gallery. There's so many of them that some have already spilled over the gate. Probably.
