Seasoned Roamer Bhima Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 I've noticed that the area map is not shaded for areas unexplored. Is this intentional? I find it challenging to identify areas that I haven't explored yet, and given that the game window area (for those of us not playing on the 27" imac) is relatively limiting, I found the area map helpful for keeping track of my progress through the area. Not sure why Jeff continues to keep this the way it is. I guess he doesn't visit the boards very often and it's possible no beta tester has ever brought it up. Shame. It comes down to a matter of taste, really. I would argue, your group are handed a map of Avernum before they set out. So there realyy isn't anything to fix, because it ain't broken.
