Ineffable Wingbolt Aequitas
I understand that there are issues concerning legacy code in these particular games that make them incompatible with Intel Macs. However, I ran G1 on my Intel MacBook (old version) with no problems whatsoever. What exactly was the problem with the old games, and should I get the new versions anyway? Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
I believe they've all been updated now to be Universal and run natively on Intel Macs. So you shouldn't have any issues.
Ineffable Wingbolt Aequitas
...thing is, I wasn't using a new version. I bought a Ten for X games pack seven years ago and it came with a copy of G1. I was running that copy. So I guess I'm asking why DIDN'T anything happen, and will something happen if I upgrade my OS? Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
The later versions of Tiger had a glitch with the PPC emulation that made the SW games run unbearably slow. That glitch was fixed in Leopard. However, it is probably a good idea to run the latest version anywaydo to bug fixes, etc.
