Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
Sorry about spelling his name wrong, i know im missing something, but anyways. Who is the agent that you find pictures of in his room. I have my suspicions, but what do you think?
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
You spelled it right, actually. —Alorael, whose guess is Greta. She and Miranda seem to be the only important agents, and Khyryk definitely interacted with Greta before.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
Why do you say that they definitely interacted before. I still to this day haven't played the rebel ending to G3. All atleast 12 times have been loyalist. EDIT: Another lie. I have played through the rebel ending, but i always kill lankan, therefore greta leaves and i never see what happens if you keep her. Rotghroth Rhapsody Artemis~
No, Alo, I was thinking something more along the lines of a partner. In G3, like Spddin said, when I found the drawings of a mysterious agent, and he gave me the agent cloak [he said that it belonged to someone dear to him, and coupled with the pictures, that's the perfect formula for a lost mate] he was just meeting Greta, Alwan, and Andras. But I'm upset because they left us hanging. The peices put together: Khyryk had a girlfriend/wife. She died. We'll never know why. ~Artemis and Khyryk. He's my favorite character in the whole series of Avernum AND Geneforge. I have no idea why, though. This whole topic was something that Spddin and I discussed in the kitchen. For the record, It was my idea. [ahhh, the maturity...]
Kyshakk Koan Monroe
I agree with Artie. At least, I got the same impression when I played. It couldn't be Greta, since you saw the pictures in G3, the game where Greta was in your party for most of the adventure.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
Could it possibly be Shanti?
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Ohh, good idea. But how would Shanti have given her the cloak? She was killed in Drypeak. Unless she gave him the cloak prior to leaving... I'm confused.
Kyshakk Koan Monroe
I suppose Khyryk could have been there when Drypeak was retaken, recovering his mate's stolen cloak from the broken body of Barzahl himself. Heh, once speculation starts, there is no end, you know.
Garrulous Glaahk Shaper Tristan
well i would say that we go down the list of agents and say why they cant be it. greta-met khyryk at the time shanti- died in drypeak in G2 miranda-fairly young, firmly loyalist(khyryk borders on rebel) astoria-i cant think of a good reason, so its plausible. Rotghroth Rhapsody Hypnotic
Astoria is on the other side of Terrestia. Long distance relationship, and Astoria appears 10 years after the events of G3. Still plasable but highly unlikely. Shanti is still plasuable if you consider the relationship happened before she died.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Artemis~
Well, she might not necissarily died. She could of left him BECAUSE he was bordering on rebel, and he still really liked her.[hence, Miranda] Or, in Shanti's case, his lover could have left and never come back. ~Artemis and plausibleness. It used to be a word I only heard on mythbusters, but now it's actually becoming a necissary word.
Garrulous Glaahk Shaper Tristan
but as ive said miranda was quite young in G4 so unless khyryk had something to confess, i think its not miranda. shanti is still in the running by a sliver only because i remembered that khyryk was put in the ashen isles because he was eccentric, that means at one point in time he was in the mainland of terrestia.
