This counts for all Avernum games ever made.. I'll start: "Someday, when the Tower is fully restored and magic research begins anew, this field will be full of flying fireballs, crazed familiars, and the screams of singed apprentices. It makes your mouth tingle pleasantly. —Alorael, who also likes Anaximander's special reward and the turgid drones of Almaria. Also the man exiled for being depressed you can meet in A1.
