I willl give you a glaahk but even a normal Drakon is quite likely to tear your face.
Also i believe that at some point the game mentions that Ur-Drakons are modified Drakons and hence again while you might be right in case of a Glaahk the theory doesn't hold for Drakons. -
I actually reported it before but probably wasn't very clear after hitting level 9 you suddenly start getting about 3 times exp., however it's not a bug in the sense that it affects game balance, Rather I believe it's a game balancing act by Jeff.

If worst comes to worst you can steal one from the guy with farming supplies in fort Duvno.

(other than because of the mathematics (diffusion is a a natural solution while convection is a forced solution (if I'm not wrong ) ) )
Here's what I have been able to understand:-
Diffusion is considered a distinct phenomena because the physical reasoning is different sufficiently from both conduction and convection.
Diffusion basically happens due to random movement of particles, now these particles can either move from a place where there are too many of them to the place where there are too few of them , or they can collide with some of the stationary (i.e lesser energy particles on the other side) and give pretty much the same result.
Now the first situation is obviously different from convection being natural and not forced however the procedure is the same and the laws governing it will be either similar or same to that of convection( Both involving movement of higher energy particles from one place to another).
In the second case the laws will resemble conduction , however over here it is the transfer of movement (i.e velocity) from one particle to another which results in flow of heat whereas in conduction it is the vibration of immediate particles resulting in vibration of next particles and so on.
To sum up the two procedures involved in diffusion are mathematically equivalent to conduction and convection , But physically they are totally different and hence it is only reasonable to call diffusion a seperate phenomena altogether. -
The problem of course was that I had planned to invest only in leadership and mechanics intially, Do the presence and Astoria's assasin quest and straight away get a war trall. Anyway I managed by investing a bit in intelligence and battle shaping and creating 6 thahds whot took the blows as I escaped. Got the war trall quickly and the game has just become a breeze even on Torment. It's mostly like:-
War Trall: You wanna say something?? Gurrrr..
clawbug/Vlish/Roamer: Uhhh...
War trall: Die!!

Does anyone know the exact amount of mechanics needed to get out of the room with heat spitting machine before the roamers get you? Or is it just not possible?

The maths of course says something else but really bows kind of suck when you really play the game, maybe it's just the playing style of some guys(including me) but a pure bow user always feels like a misfit in a rather overpowered party otherwise. I remember playing A5 with the pole user doing 50 damage and the bow user something like 10.

Well the only thing i wanted to say was that when i did them with a high level party the inside ones were easy. But yes you are probably right for a low level party. -

Really ,that means i have wasted something like 30 skill points in G5. -
The guy has about 115 essence so i think he will get about 4 creatures. With the lightning the unbound will kill 1-2 every round. With acid he will probably kill all by 3-5 rounds but till then they have more chance to live and attack compared to lightning. I guess it's pretty much useless arguing abut this because I am 99.99% sure you can't kill the unbound so quickly/so early. They are called "the unbound ones" for a reason.

Dexterity increases the to hit chance while battle magic will increase the strength of spells. So dexterity is probably better in your case.

Some strange bug has caused a weird problem, every thing i kill gives me 35 experience points, i haven't even completed the demo and i am like level 20 or something.(the powerful foes give more but i get 35 even with basic fyoras and thahds)Any help?

That's true but it should be easier to cure acid since you do have a few curing spores, lightning can be really bad for a low level character. -

Not really, some of the gorash-kel ones use acid instead of lightning, but they are inside the ruins and getting to them may not be easy. -

Well as far as i have seen jeff has been geneforgising(if that's a word) his games more and more. A6 was pretty much aveforge without the replay value. So he could assume any story he wants for A3, and maybe give us a option to help either avernum or empire.Originally Posted By: Necris OmegaThat has no potential

Jeff has made it pretty clear that he is gonna stick with the same story for the remake of first triology,Now i am not sure about A1, but i think that if he wanted to do something innovative about A2 he could make the game with empire's point of view, we could actually play as adventurers who stole the crystal souls and we could turn the tables on avernum and vahnahti. seems pretty cool to me what are your views?

It's better to invest in both type of skills for the simple reason that you will be able to enjoy the game more, Otherwise it will feel a bit incomplete(You will always wonder about what the hell was in that door).
-
I don't know how you will accomodate that in the story though.
It's hard to say that one set of adventurers having 29 bars of iron and 17 cakes is better than the ones with 5 bars and 8 cakes.

I Killed him, it took seventeen reloads though, The trick is to limit the amount of damage you do before the turn in which he drinks healing elixir comes, If you haven't done enough damage by then, then he won't drink the elixir at all. After that it's just hack and slash. -

Don't you have to kill the original keeper to become one yourself??
