  1. thanks for the info. i was sujesting the creation of a topic with those tatics. yes i did that with the rat lord but i had to unlock that door( tool use 4) so i could have only 1 could attacking me. edit:just finished ALL of demo bosses in torment (never achieved this before), even the big bad slime. i read somewhere (in the central) that he doesnt multiply when dazed so i hasted, got close to him and daze, next turn attack with pole then daze, attack-daze,... repeated the process until he died at first try (got extremly lucky and he didnt resist any daze) now i just need to survive the ambush to reach the docks...
  2. another thing that i would also like to see in A6 is tha possibility to know what buffs/debuffs a creature have when inspected because it would turn the batle more fast sence u dont have to scroll every inch of the fight text to keep updated and would be more easy to know when a certain debuff was already gone. like when i check to see the creature life it would also say: Troll chieftan 234/456 blessed weakened hasted poison/acid
  3. have any1 started a topic about the strategies to kill the boss or major quest NPCs in each chapter? in torment singleton like for example: i had to put tool use at 4 to unlock the door at rat lord's terrace so i could have a doorway to run to, face 1 mob at a time and spam acid. also tried with daze but still had 2-3 attacking me. is this a viable way to do him or u guys found a better one? DKF
  4. thats the prime sentinel, im talking about the sentinel prototipe to the southeast thats available after u killed the prime. i got to tranquility with first aid at 5, after most fights it gave me 1-2 energy wich didnt had much impact sence i had to go back to town and restore anyway :S, of course if u invest a lot of skills in it, it will pay off...
  5. i did cleared all tranquility except for the chitrach egghatcher(?) still havent adventured in trying to get slith bloodspear and my tries to kill the sentinel prototipe at the workshop have failed. i was amased how acid is so overpwered, the shade was just a long easy fight (i got 36% parry with silken shield, enduring shield and steel skin so dmg mitigation is not a problem) so acid is being my main start spell (after haste,2shades and party buffs) thinking in restarting the game sence i got a lot of wasted talents that i could have maximized their utility like training the 1º 3 points of NL and the rest at drake pillars. also i got 5 points on first aid, it has had litle to none influence in my game and also magical eficiency is way better (in my opinion)... and some other mistakes. also planing to go more deep into mage then priest (gonna miss steel skin :'( ) now... neph, for his "nimbleness" bonus, or slith, for his imba poison/acid resist? (with the ring,boots and leggs i have to switch-on i take very few dmg to even bother using a cure spell)
  6. they did and took most of the beeting, couldnt scare the rat away while he was looking at me with its beenie eyes i also trained 2 more mage points to get haste spell and acid, way easier fights now.
  7. whatch out with gladwell, if get his geas u will be forced to make many towns angry until farther in the game where u can find and kill him. the rewards are gr8 in term of spells but the weapons and shields arent much of a buff, u will find some equaly or better gear in the game. its all up to u to decide.

  10. :S about the herbs and the muck potionmaster... damnit... oh well the speed pots came handy anyway yeah i actualy sell what i dont need and only ekip myself from drops or quest rewards, the problem is that the bag (the only 1 in singleton) gets full very fast, i have half of bag with potions, a switch belt (to trade from a +2str and a +1int) and some speed scrolls/wands... the part that just a single spell level is necessary was something i need cause other than the speed pots i buy the rest of the gold on down on skills or spell trainers. also im in hard mode, my first tries on torment revealed...well a torment... that crocolist took me some time to kill and the slime under harston well i never killed him in torment... thanks for the help guys edit: btw, does any1 know the trainable skills requirements for the special skills? like 6dext+6def=parry and 6dext+10bow=sharpshooter edit2:does any1 know the mats for the knowledge brews?
  11. i know about that cheat... u could put the value up to 90000 and each cake would sell for +24k... but i was looking for some noncheat tips like Dikiyoba's one. thanks to both
  12. im playing a singleton in hard mode (torment is way out of my league...for now) and its been a consuming-time-game sence my bags are full very with crystals/herbs/various potions and i have to keep geting back and back to towns to sell the extra stuff i dont need and to deposit the mats i want to stack. by the time i reched exodus i lost my sanity and used the "iampoor" :'( is this the only way? going back to town evry time. PS:and yes, i got several piles of stash with pots herbs fine steel leather crystals... in the portal room where cienna is, so i dont need to have most of them on my bag slots.
  13. just a thought... 1 thing i miss from the exile games in avernum is the wait ability. u could tell ur melee chars to w8 and get them buff by the casters and then get back to the buffed melee and attack in that turn. i know that would mess the ability to improve ur reaction time in combat but it would be nice that ur 2º in line archer could throw a shieldbreaking arrow and ur 1ºin line melee could do a aimed blow after. the quick action doesnt afect missiles so no use geting it on an archer so the melee will always act first. just an idea... edit:Exile2 rocks, story,action,spells...everything
  14. i also didnt find the "there are no blue sparkles" :S now i see why this was the only puzzle i left behind before ending A5 the 1º time -.-' (i tried all combinations on the 5 hints i had) and yes finding out how to lure the the soultaker out was anoying...very anoying... it took me many times until i gave up and started hiting the charmed char for fun and ended the turn after that char and the message (something like this) "the soultaker screams in pain" led to realizing how to do it. my tec was to ekip both "warriors" with a bow (low skill) and leave them arrowing the casters when charmed and use spells on the enemies, then when he comes out, switch to melee (i used to use dual weild on exile games but now i have both of them with poles) this was a very hard "doungeon" not advised to do it earlier, but return here before leaving the vahnatai lands to melanchion land.
