I played baldurs gate and got bored pretty fast, i think there is nothing like spiderweb!!!

Yeah they're half price. €6 for the geneforge saga. But I like steam so much that I'm willing to wait for a steam sale so that they will all be under one hub!

They should all come registered, regardless of where you purchased them.

Will i get to keep my saved games or do i need to restart all over again?

If you download the demo of some older games, you had to send in a code to get registered and block the full game. If you buy the game directly or from a third party, it usually comes registered.

 

All CD-ROMs were automatically registered back when Jeff still sold them that way.

Well im playing geneforge 1, and it needs to be registered, im planning to buy the geneforge saga, so i was asking if they will send me the code for GF1 and if i have to register all the other games

Some like the Apple Store and Steam are approved third party sources. It's legal to buy from them. There are occasional sales where you can buy the games at a significant discount. For instance the Humble Bundle a few months ago allowed you to buy almost all the games for less than the cost of one game sold here.

 

The main differences are that Jeff makes more profit on games stored here and better support. This site gets the first updates and patches to fix bugs in the games. It's easier to get your game code if you lose it due to computer crashes. Jeff offers a no questions refund within one year of purchase.

I wan to buy geneforge saga, but i see its sold in other websites, not sure if its legal to post here, but i would like to know the difference, since it sells at 30$ USD here and i have found it at 15$ USD

If you bought them directly from Spiderweb, email Spiderweb Software at support@spiderwebsoftware.com with as many of the personal details (name/address/email) that you originally purchased the game under as you can remember.

If you play through Steam, check your game library.

If you're on Windows, run Search.

If you're on Mac, I think you can run Search as well.

 

Otherwise, I think the files were deleted or you don't own those games.

I am not looking for the file, i just want to replay some games, and i want to know if i own them so i can ask for a new serial

There's no official information about it yet. Spiderweb was intending to have an official announcement with screenshots and the like "before summer," but that didn't happen. Regardless, it'll be a few months yet before release, presumably.

I'd love to have an easy way of examining all the different ending permutations for the Geneforge games, given how many different ways for each game to end. A quick check through the data files for the original didn't yield anything useful. Has anyone figured it out?

All creations increase to hit and damage with increased strength, increased evasion of enemy attacks with dexterity, increased health with endurance. increased resistance to mental attacks (charm, terror) with intelligence.

How do you make the attack of magic creation become stronger: raising int or raising str?

It would be awesome for just a few characters. If it works for Avadon, a very small romance of certain npcs would be epicness!

Geneforge 2-Male characters can woo Shanti with claw bugs as the flower girls.

Geneforge 1-Female characters can woo Brodus blade with Glahhks pouring sparkling cider at wedding (alcohol makes me dizzy)

I think Greta would be an excellent choice in later games 4 and 5 but I only completed 4 so I don't know completely.

Another thing if jeff is going to be implementing romance features in his rpgs people will eventually want all options like Winter Wolves and Baldurs Gate series.
