  1. hmm... Interesting, I did a little read up on Wikipedia about those two peaces of media. they both sound very good, how ever, the Eden Trilogy needs a few more sources as there is very little on the books. (I know, I should go buy the books)
  2. I found on he Loading screens were too quick for me to read the Creation information except that Battle Alpha Loin cloths were not stickily necessary, but advised to avoid shocking Townsfolk.

If there is one lesson you hope people learned from playing Geneforge, what would it be?
  4. I hate having to absorb any of my creations... I can accept the dead and all, but I try to keep them alive. Thats why I said about the Storage system for creations. How ever, I never really make many creations, just the one to watch my back as I usually play agents.
  5. I know that Geneforge is a game based in its owen universe, in a fictional world... but! I Notice a few little similarities from Some kids Anime programs... for one, you have little monsters that look like Chairmanned that breath fire, it sounds like a reference to Poke'mon. The Agents in part one, two and three look quite similar to Goku in DBz. I do know that everything is inspired by something, my epic story that I am writing for instance is inspired by allot of internet fads, Anime, and B rated horror movie classics, but... Was Geneforge inspired by Anime?
  6. I had a thought... Shaper Surgery? If you take one lead of the story or do something wrong (or right depending on how you look at it) at a particular part your body gets really badly damaged, your legs even get ripped off and eaten! But thanks to Illegal shaping, your able to get new limbs attached to you, and you gain some new powers! Your armor also increases, and... maybe you get a chainsaw? ... What about playing as Multiple shapers at one time, each with there owen inventories, some what similar to Avernum? Particularly in G3 i think Al and Greta should have had some sort of inventory system.
  7. You should know I have hung up my chainsaw for now... ... I think that there should be a world clock system, hunger, and sleep, and other day to day things in life as a non shaper in GF5, then towards the middle of the beginning after doing something like using a Geneforge, you become a hero and don't require sleep and other crap. I also think, that here should be destructible buildings. (Who had fun in Avernum with the Move mountains spell?) For instance you could blow apart doors rather than pick the lock! Or you just blow a hole in the side of that bastards house who just ripped you off! I also think there should be a special opportunity fire attack. for those of you who have not played Horror squadron, opportunity fire is done if you have X amount of Action points at the end of your turn to allow yourself to fire at some one as they enter your line of sight in combat, letting you use range weaponry/spells to attack him on his turn. I also think, there should be... no, no thats enough...
  8. Oh my got I made it though the first zone without Tyro Dying! How i did it you ask? No cheats, Tyro did attack the first monster, but two guards assisted him, as well. He came and Crossed the mine field, then the Servile got a rock thrown at her by the War Thrall, then the Battle alpha and myself pinned him into a corner while Tyro did some damage to him. then he made it to the citadel. Is that meant to happen?
  9. Canisters in Geneforge is like any alcoholic drink in RL for me. I see it, then I want to use/drink it. If I can, I will...
  10. My Sincere apologies for 733t speak... Its actually going to make me really sad that its the last game... I hope its like BoA (as you say it A can of muffin soup ) I want a level Editor! and some thing else that I don't know...
  11. I do hope that There i a new Series of something by Jeff finishs GF5. After the game BOA Avernum started to (IMO) a little cheesy.
  12. I think you should Have to buy Enchanted Anvils, cauldrons and Furniture. maybe you are required to shape the serviles, and get them to cut wood and get them to make the house. or alternatively you can stock up n Planks of wood you find just laying around. Also, I think you should be able to write down recipes and sell them to locals. Your home simply serves as an alchemy factory and such is what I had the ida of... ... Another thing, one thing I found odd about Shapers is that they don't seem to require Food or Drink... They can eat it but they don't need it... We need a rations system like in Exile!

Which would be a major blow to the Honourable Spiderweb Software Company's funds. Company funds? Rating? Personally I admired Jeff because of his method of story telling is so well done, not his ability to lead a company. I believe that Geneforge should be classed as literature in its owen right. Thats what Jeff has taken me to believe. Anyway, What Is Romance to you? What is the Crime in loving something? or is everyone think of the perverted sense of the word?
  14. Romance can happen anywhere. It adds a new meaning to the characters purpose I would think. And it could add new plot twists. It could also add a bit of a story of WHY romance dose not occur in the other Geneforge Games. maybe Prior to being touched by the Geneforge you have a girlfriend, but for some reason or other, you just don't have the same feelings towards her afterwards. After all, Lifecrafters do seem to be Disconnected. Using the Geneforge removes all flirty conversation choices.
  15. Hey People... I AM NOT READING THOUGH ALL OF THAT! So if anything is suggested already, soz, lol, and tell me. I think that The Melee Is a little lacking. Its Satisfying to watch a worm get punched and splatter and all, but lets say you are surrounded by a bunch of them. You want to get rid of them swiftly, so you use some thing like war dance? Lasts for three turns, but infuses you with some magical effect that makes you less fatigued, your body feels weightless, and your blade is easier to swing. In game terms: all targets in Melee range take one melee attack that turn, including ones you walk past I also think that you should be able to use your owen life force with some spells to save on Essence and Increase Damage, and some times add an effect of splash damage. its called Unstable energy. You must consume so many canisters to use it. I also had an idea for a spell, Rather much like Divine host in Avernum. You use al your essence to create an army of Rouges, that will destroy everything that is attacking you. How ever, after that, they wander around aimlessly until they become hostile. I also think that A Shaper dose eventually want a home. Why not the ability to make bases? You know, Essence pools, Thorn bushes, your alchemy supplies? Things that you want safe? or Maybe you got so much Wiry moss, and you want to make a batch of Healing slaves? maybe you can throw in some home security Shaper style? Or you have a powerful creation but you want to make a different one for the Puzzle up ahead, You can put him into storage. Hell! Why not a Breeding center? You could create Strange Hybrids! I also Think that GF5 should have what all of the Avernum games had: Special Traits. They could be things like Frailty, or natural leadership, to personality disorders (Gives you Penalties and Different choices) I also Think There should be a little more to do with relationships with family and friends in GF5, even your owen creations. Creations have Bad memories when you punish them or send them though a suicidal mission. Humans, feel Love, hate and all that. They Why not some romance? the whole world of GF Celibate? I also think... Wait... I think thats a little too much... hehe... Feed back?
  16. Alwan Greta Trakovites (Shapers are Cruel Control freaks at heart, and Rebles are a bunch of Kindigardeners that rabble among themselves (or at least the humans and the Creations do) I Think that Trakovites are who the Rebels TRY to be . Healing or Haste These Spells plus blessing are just about the only ones I use. Roamer or Servile I like the Roamers out of Style, and Serviles are just cool, how ever, what's up with there noses? 9.99 GF4 is one of the Best titles Of Jeff's It looks like Some one actually gave the world some thought in All of his titles.
