  1. I watched Dexter at some point, which is... meh. The main character is rather boring and the show should clearly be about his sister. Also, Veronica Mars, which is mostly great the first two seasons (an exception is an episode in which she blackmails a guy by exploiting the fact that he's bisexual... seriously?). The third season does a weird change in format and the quality takes a nosedive.
  2. Yes, the U.S. is becoming increasingly plutocratic.
  3. I'm only going to list shows that I've seen at least one season of: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Breaking Bad The X-Files The Daily Show with Jon Stewart South Park Angel Orange is the New Black How I Met Your Mother Firefly is probably going to be my next watch. I just finished my third viewing of Buffy. I would also eagerly watch Seinfeld if I had access to it.
  4. I don't remember any of the questions changing.
  5. I think the best solution would be to have the rope transport the party to a small town that represents the outdoors. You could make the town edges small so that the party doesn't have to travel far to enter the true outdoors.
  6. Hmm… good question! Could you use the call move_to_loc_x_y(short which_char_or_group, short x, short y)? It returns 1 if the creature can't find a path to the spot. My understanding is that the creature will not attempt to move near the space if it's blocked, but you'd have to test that. If that doesn't work you could use the calls change_blocked(short x, short y, short blocked) and is_blocked(short x, short y) to manually designate given spaces as blocked. That would only work in town, though.
  7. Not necessarily a cameo, but Mahdavi is an adjectival for Mahdavia, a minority sect of Islam. That's kind of random, but surely it's not a coincidence?
  8. I had the early misfortune of being identified by the Apprentice Mage, so I decided to just admit that I was the Geas Toucher. I then told Triumph and Sarachim in private that I switched with Sylae; I don't think that was a very good idea! Since I had blundered early on, I formulated a gambit to convince people that I was the Skribbane Addict. I don't know if that worked or not. I am surprised that nobody voted for me. I genuinely thought Sarachim was a fellow Empire spy. I had no idea that Goldengirl was a spy, but then again, she only made a single post in the thread. I actually liked the format for this game. I would not be interested in playing over AIM.
  9. It is totally possible for there to be only one Disciple of Sixus.
  10. My impression now is this: Nalyd - Refugee BainIhrno - Empire Bureaucrat Excalibur - Refugee, once the Geas Toucher Sarachim: Empire Cultist Goldengirl - Highly Alert Citizen Tridash - Disciple of Sixus Sylae - Geas Toucher, momentarily Refugee, originally Apprentice Mage Triumph - Empire Infiltrator Iffy - Disciple of Sixus It doesn't seem like there is a Skribbane Addict because nobody is acting that way; however, I am a little suspicious of Tridash. Iffy and Goldengirl have mostly been silent. It's possible that Goldengirl is a Priest, but she hasn't claimed an unused role. I suppose it's possible that one of Tridash/Iffy/Goldengirl is an Empire spy, or that Sarachim/BainIhrno are not. The only person who is certainly an Empire spy is Triumph, so I would encourage everyone to cast votes for him.
  11. So why did you lie about being a refugee?
  12. Why would tridash lie about being a Disciple of Sixus? Can Iffy confirm that tridash is a disciple? Meanwhile, we have no idea who BainIhrno is—probably an Empire spy. Who is Goldengirl?
  13. Things are starting to come together now: Triumph is the Empire Infiltrator Sarachim is a fellow Empire Spy, probably a Cultist Sylae is now the Geas Toucher, but once an Apprentice Mage Nalyd is a Refugee I am now a Refugee, once the Geas Toucher Accordingly, BainIhrno and tridash are lying about their identities. This probably means that we have three Empire spies and a Skribbane Addict. Meanwhile, Iffy and Goldengirl haven't made any responses, but by process of elimination, they're fellow Avernites. Because there are three Empire spies, that means we really have to organize and overcome their three-vote block and at the same time, avoid voting for the Skribbane Addict.
  14. Sylae is telling the truth because I switched roles with her, meaning that she is now the Geas Toucher. As an Avernite, she wouldn't have any reason to make up a claim about identifying Nalyd as the Apprentice Mage. Meanwhile, you somehow knew what my role was.
  15. I targeted Sylae and I am definitely a refugee. This means that there is an Empire Cultist who targeted Sylae and turned her into a refugee. Triumph somehow knew my role, which means he's the Empire Infiltrator, or should I say, InfilTRAITOR. Case solved.
  16. I switched roles with Sylae, for what it's worth.
  17. Are you sure there aren't three liars?
  18. So you're claiming to be a Disciple of Sixus?
  19. Triumph identifying me doesn't place him above suspicion. After all, he could be the Empire Infiltrator, or in cahoots with the Infiltrator.
  20. I think it's time to spread the information around like butter. I have several juicy tidbits of info that I could exchange quid pro quo. I will also accept sprigs of graymold as payment.
  21. I suppose I should clarify that my interest amounts to participation.
