  1. Why you don't try to play like me? I wasn't rebel and I wasn't loyal. I did only what I belive. For example, I beliwed that Diwania was too much anger with Lankan. But I don't wanted to make Lankan a cold leader. So, I hit the source of the problem: I killed all the rogues. If you don't want to choose a path, make it yourself.

(Don't get me started on Alwan.) Or do other people have melee or missile Guardians who successfully and effectively bring along a few creations? If so, what am I missing? If not, what would it take to make a squad leader? In GF3, I always allow only one creature to follow me. But this work only if you spent some points on Intelligence and if you give all your essence to power-up your creation. But, again, this work only before you start meeting Drakons and other strong battles. When this happen, you have to save some essence. I think.

If you have a 30 in each stat, no matter what class it is, it will be good at everything. I totally agree with you, in fact I haven't played and finished GF2 and GF3 by using the editor. I simply pimped the Magic skills of my Guardian for see if he can be good at Magic. And it worked, adding only 8 to MM, BM and BLM. It was just to see. And I haven't saved after that! I'm not totally "pure" because the canister using, so I don't want to be totally "impure" by maximize my stats! (And I'm strong enough, don't need to cheat )

By using the editor, I can tell you that a Guardian Mage is pretty powerful. Expecially for the strong daze. Yes, maybe the solution would be a Mental/Blessing Guardian Mage! Or maybe not.

  7. I agree with I_am_a_Minotaur. The Guardian is a good character, is no more/less powerful than the Agent. And isn't harder play with him. It just need a properly built. And Akari is easy to defeat alone too.

  10. Quote: Originally written by Nick Ringer: I support you, MD, but there would have to be some common spells between the classes (heal, daze, bless). Thanks. And yes, probably the Healing Craft would be for every class. Quote: Originally written by Little Billy Sue: This would be fairly cool, but we run into trouble with the Agent. The Agents, as has been pointed out, use all spells, not just a specific type. You can't really confine them to a set of spells. That's right. The solution could be a totally rewriting of all spells, but this won't be nice.
  11. I understand. I do the same things with my Guardian, pimping his magic!
  12. Is a little early think about this... I will do that after I see GF4. Sorry...
  13. I would post this in "A Few Advanced Notes On Geneforge 4", but I need a pool. So, what do you think of my idea? I mean, every class (Guardian, Agent, Shaper) has is own magic. Example: Guardian: Magic that improves sword damage, etc... Agent: Magic for kill foes, etc... Shaper: Magic for make creations stronger, etc... I'm not telling you to eliminate all the old spells, but simply give different spells/kind of magic for each class. Maybe some speels like Heal or Unlock can be given at all classes. Well?
  14. Someone can tell me who exactly is? He can speak? He gives you Ornkskin Gloves? In what GF is located? Where is? Is difficult to found? Thanks.

Is there another, better version of the Gazer? 3. Can I use the Geneforge, like in #1? 1 - Only with an Editor. 2 - Yes, the EyeBeast. 3 - No.
  17. I had a Level 8 Mental Magic, 4 SpellCraft and a Level 5 Terror Spell, but it don't make any damage. Just, scares a lot.
  18. I always call my character with my own name, Matteo. I like pretending to be a Guardian, a mighty swordman! . In fact, I always play with Guardians... 19. - I have a lot of Resarch Notes. Who wants them? - Where is the cure for the serviles disease? - Where are the tokens for open the big gate in Gazak-Uss? (I have the Fang and the Feather). Thanks.
