  1. I don't know if any of you noticed this, but the spell protection field(I think that's the name) the one where you cast it it makes all these different fields appear. Well anyways, you can kill people with that spell and they don't get mad at you! (I have the e3 demo version, Btw) And I went and killed some vahnatai with it to get one of their cloaks. Then when I come back, it sets the stuff done flags to say I ended the golem plague. Cool huh.

  2. Probably cause it's a tough decision. I like all 3 of them, and I just said Exile3 if I had to have a favorite, probably because it was only a little bit better than the others in my view. The slot for me is pretty much still unsure. smile

  3. I've just begun this new craze: kill as many creatures and get as many damage points as possible. I've currently started a new party about a week ago(using the editor! laughlaughlaugh )and have 10,000 kills and 400,000 damage points! Woohoo! What's your alls max. stuff.

Now that you mention it, I do see your point. I kind of like that concept too. Such as in exile 3 you know you're the exiles' only hope. This also plays into the concept of e1, though not as strongly.
  5. I'd say they each have their own unique storylines that are equally valuable, and I like them all. However, if I'd have to choose one of them, I'd have to say exile 3, just because I like the idea of going back to your homeland and destroying the plagues inhabiting it.

Btw, next time you make a poll, you might want to make only 1 box "clickable" :p

I agree with your point. Its more realistic, but the only downside i find in it is when you are poisoned, I think it takes you out much too rapidly. Or maybe I just don't react as fast. smile
  7. It might be helpful telling the location of the spell "identify".

Go to Goddale and speak with the lady that identifies stuff. Shes at the W. side of town. Then go to ernest. (hes the guy that can send you through the portals to each of the major cities) Search the bookshelves and take a book on teleportation. Then go back to goddale and she teaches you the spell. smile

  8. Your physical attributes don't increase the effectiveness of magical items like crystals. As far as the grim cavern, I havent played e1 in awhile, but go with Princess Ruth. Theres a TON of secret passageways. I'd keep my automap up if i were you, as light goes out 10 times as quick in this place. smile

As for secret barriers, try walking through them first. Some of them you can walk through. Otherwise, you can use a piercing crystal. I got the demo version which doesnt allow you to get the spell, and I've completed the whole dungeon.

  9. I'd agree with the others. You don't really need to go there for anything. In fact, the only useful thing to do there besides the herbs, is if you saved the empire soldiers from the slimes then you go there and talk to the priest lady in the bar and get a rep increase. Other than that, I would say you should kill everyone in there to gain the exp, and sell everything you scanvenge that you don't want.

Agreed. I have the demo version, so I have to use the editor for this trick. Go to the Inn of Blades, and complete the metal quest for the apprentice mage in the inn. Then once you talk to him get him to leave and you will gain a reputation point. Leave and use the editor to reset hostile towns. Then go back and repeat the process. laugh

Btw, this also works with another person in that town. You have to clear the isle of bigail for him first though.
