  1. Not to be dense, but I'm having trouble this go-through finding how to open that door in the north of Kayar's Spire. Is there a well-concealed lever somewere?...
  2. I've been playing the demo for a couple days. Now, all of a sudden, when I open the game it doesn't recognize my keyboard -- no typed orders register, I can't name a saved game, etc. This post is proof the keyboard itself does work. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Mac Mini, last-generation white-key on white plastic/lucite mac keyboard, leopard, if any of this matters.
  3. IMHO, Nethergate's a better game -- more interesting, more innovative, and a story better told than A4. If you're looking for raw game-hours before boredom ensues, A4 is a better bet ... unless the whole game bored you. But you're easily likely to get 100+ hours of gaming out of Nethergate between the two sides, even playing each through just once (and no, there's probably not much replayability beyond that, unless you're a shameless min/maxer). Better yet of course would be to buy both, but I'm operating under the assumption that that's not a financially reasonable option for you. Just my $0.02 -- enjoy! And I'll leave it to non-lurking regulars to extend the traditional Spiderweb salutations with regards to where your sanity is best left.
  4. I didn't find the nightmare worms all that nightmarish, truth be known. Even playing torment, my servile was able to snow them with mass madness very reliably.
  5. Why not just acidify the Claymore, and get the nice stat boosts from the sword while adding that little something special?... Ah, runed amethyst, how do I love thee?
  6. I'm going to guess that you're not going to be the most popular noob ever... Edit: Beat to the punch. What a waste of post #3. Sigh.
