I don't look forward to tranquility, though. Anyway, my slith with strength 6, dexterity 2, pole 7 and thrown missiles 0 is hitting harder with javelins (base damage 4-16) than an iron spear (base damage 8-24). What gives? Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 To get the multiplier, divide the weapon's maximum damage by its minimum damage. 16/4 = 4. 24/8 = 3. It's still a bit weird to be seeing javelins hit harder than spears with those stats, though. What kind of damage numebrs are you seeing? Okay, unless you were using Mighty Blow or something, there's definitely something fishy going on and it's very likely to be a bug. You on Mac or Windows?
