Does it really have to be this way?

Hey everyone

I've just spent the last few hours plugging away desperately at my keyboard writing pulitzer prize winning dialogue for my scenario in the hope that no one will notice the lack of scripting, and detail, and terrain, and towns, and a lot of other important stuff.

However It seems that with every line of dialogue I write I get more and more fed up with typing /pasting /organising filler like

"state = -1; personality = 7;"

So my question is can anyone recommend a good mac dialogue editor of some kind that could help in saving time with minor things of that nature.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Sorry about the lateness, but I've been away so...

Have you tried using macros? Instead of repeatedly coping and pasting, you could set up a macro to run when you pressed a key combination, such as Shift+F9, that could write all of the filler for you.

Of course, macros can be nasty, and so you really should watch what you are doing with them. I've lost many hours of work by trying to save 5 minutes and using a macro, but it could work.
