Is that supposed to happen? There's no way I can beat the both of them, or even get up on the platform to the controls. Not with them charming and forcecaging the party every turn. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 It's possible that you did something to make the town hostile, like accidentally attacking one of your own summoned monsters. Magnificent Ornk Ephesos Posted November 4, 2005 Share Posted November 4, 2005 If you don't accept Erika's boon, it's just a longer walk through the Great Walls. A lot longer. And you never really kill Rentar. Even if you do, the plot unfolds as if she hadn't died (I know this because I had an hour to kill, and I spent it slowly killing Rentar).
