Ineffable Wingbolt Superba Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 The Discipline blade is one of my favourite melee weapons because of its +30% faster fatigue recovery bonus and the +2 to Melee weapons. I am however confused about the +3 to Pole weapons feature. If one wields the blade he couldn't benefit from this bonus, logically speaking. But maybe one simply needs to have the blade in his pack? There are in Avernum and also Avadon other weapons with this double feature (+Pole and +Melee bonus together) so I am quite curious to understand the meaning of it. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 The clue is right there in the name: it's called the Discipline Blade because it helps you meet the skill requirements to unlock Battle Disciplines. The 3 points of Pole Weapons still count for that even though they have no effect on the weapon's effectiveness as a weapon.
