Fledgling Fyora Zorni Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 After finding the Exit as the last big Quest, my party dutifully returned to Avernum. On the way back I decided to attack Sulfras just for the heck of it. The fight went quite poorly, since I was using the wrong ward and most of my party freaked out from Sulfras panic spell (even the cleric who usually resists mind effects quite well). My mage did most of the job by herself, with haste and invulnerability, spamming arcane blows until Sulfras was almost dead. Then the invulnerability wore off, and Sulfras made short work of her. Then it went after the cleric, who was still panicked some 7 turns later. Sulfras hit, but the pannicked cleric, wearing the bracers looted under great difficulties from Hawrhornes dead body, and no other riposte item nor having levels in riposte, riposted the atack - for lethal.
