For Gnass, you have to get and complete "Hunting Darklings" from the chief Sss-Schai (he just wanders around outside). You may already have killed the barbarian slith leader in the fort north of Ft. He meant getting Skatha to teach his skills. I never went back and spoke with him before to see if/when he would teach me but just checked and you have to kill Sss-Thsss, you're correct. Wasted money on her the first time through, as well, before I discovered the benefits of being two-faced in Kyass. Still need her for most of the top-row battle skills, though.
