Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Experience is evenly divided between your characters, and the amount of experience each receives is unaffected by the number of characters with you (unlike Geneforge, where you could dilute your exp). There also goes for your companions back in Avadon - they gain the same exp as your guys out in the field. HOWEVER, each character starts with a slightly different amount of exp, based on what you do before each companion is made available. Once you have them all, the differences in their exp is fixed (until you hit level 30) for the entire game. But don't worry, with the game's level cap, you won't have any shortage of exp.
