Burgeoning Battle Gamma Alexwood
Can you hire people like in the frist avernum? can you delete them and can you change people?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Not like in the original trilogy, no. Vanderin occasionally tags along for awhile, as you know by now, and there are a few fights where you'll have allies, but no-one actually joins the party in one of the character slots. You can, of course, delete one or more of your own characters, and replace them with new ones. They'd be starting at level one, though. The goblin hunting and the Great Portal, but what others?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Vadarin appears to help Solberg later in the game.

Burgeoning Battle Gamma Alexwood
Wow did it again just accidentaly figured it out that was gruteskly deviantly hard like every turn he summons 2 shades weird. On the right side of the GUI, just below the map icon and above your quick-use slots, is an icon that looks like four little game pieces. Press that to edit your party. Remember that there is no "storage" of characters in this game; if you delete one, it's gone for good. So you might want to strip it's gear off, first.
