It seems that only rarely that you can ever get both. Just keep on trying. And trying. And trying. No, but with tons and tons of armor boosting items, endurance boosting items, shielding, Essence Armor, and other buffs, and it's possible that you can survive the blast of one mine (you'd disarm the other one).
