Well-Actually War Trall BainIhrno
(Note: This only occurs on Mac, not windows) Has anyone noticed that in Exile II, you can cast Scry Monster on a monster, and then hit the arrow keys, you can actually change the monster type? For example, in combat, I can cast Scry Monster on a hydra, hit the arrow keys, and then change it into a goblin or official and easily defeat it. Anyone else noticed this? Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
I've never noticed that (for obvious reasons), but that's awesome. Does it work in any other Exiles?
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Oh man. That's great. Nice discovery. Do you know if that works on all versions?
Rotghroth Rhapsody Grain of Salt
Eheheh... another reason Macs are superior to Windows. This only works in Exile 2. It would likely work in Exile 1, because they have similar interfaces, but Exile 1 doesn't even have scry monster. At Exile 3 we get switched to the Blades scrying interface. And he'll never patch this. If he does, we can all force him to patch Blades.
Well-Actually War Trall BainIhrno
It works on version 2.0 on the mac - I don't know anything else. Also, it's only Exile II - nothing else.
Curious Artila Carl_dup1
Can you make the monsters harder, too? Like create a Vahnatai Lord so you can Capture Soul them? How about using it on townspeople without them getting angry with you?
Well-Actually War Trall Archmagus Micael
Well, if you have a copy of the game where it lets you change monsters just try it out yourself. Us win users have to win the old-fashioned way. - Archmagus Micael

I can confirm that: •It works on Exile II version 2.0.3 •That I now have a Crystal Soul captured
