Articulate Vlish Antarctica
I've downloaded and re-downloaded G5 three times, and it still lags as much as it did before. Any tips on how to make it run a little smoother?
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Try turning on the Fast Graphics option. That might speed it up a bit.
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
Tried it. Didn't work very well.
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
Re-downloaded it some more, still not going as smoothly as I had hoped, any other suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
What type of computer are you using? If you haven't already, try quitting any other applications you have running. Your computer may just not be powerful enough to run Geneforge 5 at full speed. I've quit all applications before it finished downloading, and the game is still running very slowly. It should work, I've played the demo multiple times and it went pretty well. Unless registering the game affects how it runs.
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
It shouldn't. Have you fully uninstalled the game? I know that on a windows you have to do more than just delete the file.
Articulate Vlish Antarctica
I went to start, programs, spiderweb, and uninstalled G5. Then I searched for any Geneforge related file and I couldn't find any. Any other ideas why it's lagging?

Well-Actually War Trall The Ratt
If you are on a netbook that may be the problem. I hear jeff's new games don't perform well on those... things.
