How to install 64-Bit Windows 7 via BootCamp

Well, I have a question about this. Windows 7 has sketchy support supposedly, but many people say they have gotten it to work. I am trying to install 64-Bit Windows 7 on my 2 year old iMac running 10.5. When I go through BootCamp and restart my computer to get the installation going I have two problems.

The first is I get a screen asking with a 1. and 2. with nothing else other than something asking what kind of disc installation type it is, and I have no idea what to enter.

The second problem is my aluminum mac keyboard doesn't work. Would getting a different keyboard help?

I appreciate any help, and thank you in advance.

According to this support article, your iMac does not support 64-bit Boot Camp. The reasons for this are twofold.

1. Many older Macs, even some with 64-bit CPUs, do not have 64-bit EFIs and can therefore not boot a 64-bit kernel.

2. Apple does not provide 64-bit Windows drivers for any Mac not on that list.

Unfortunately, the only way to run Windows 7 on your system is to install the 32-bit version.
