I've played all five Avernum games (no Exile, unfortunately), so I was understandably psyched about Avernum 6... I'm pretty much at the end of the game (I've gained access to what I presume to be the final quest), but there's still some areas I haven't been - and it sort of bugs me. Click to reveal.. So, how do you get to the Northern Isles? I haven't seen any boats at Melanchion's dockyard and I'd like to go see if Shanker's still alive at least. And what about Fort Emerald? I was hoping that I could visit the old crypt of drath area. On a related note, I assume that there's a challenge area, as there has been in all the recent games… where is it though? Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Jeff has some areas that are challenging: The Darkside Loyalist base in the Wild Abyss Woods, beneath the Maurader's Hideout, beyond the Dragon's Gate in the Honeycomb, clearing Formello to loot it inside and out, looting Melanchion's Keep (not really).
