Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Probably because there were no Geneforge-style spider sprites initially and Jeff had no desire to pay extra for them. By the time they came up, the spiders were firmly not established in the Geneforge world. —Alorael, who also thinks maybe even Jeff gets tired of spiders. And really, it's important to be able to make a fantasy game without giant spiders. Maybe a game without crates will come next!
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
At least the clawbugs mean there are still archnids involved somehow. Dikiyoba thinks the next series of games should include giant ticks. Or maybe even vinegarroons. It'll be awesome.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
GIFTS would probably be persecuted in the Geneforge universe. Rogue creations would try to eat them, and shapers would either be driven mad by them, or else treat them as rogues and kill them. It'll be awesome. *shudder* I hope not; it's bad enough with the GIFTS, because I'm slightly arachnophobic. Maybe we could have a race of giant killer bees/wasps/hornets, complete with their own arsenal. And, of course, some of them are the GIFT variety.
